PhilEnergy EXPO 2025: Tianxiang high mast

From March 19 to March 21, 2025, PhilEnergy EXPO was held in Manila, Philippines. Tianxiang, a high mast company, appeared at the exhibition, focusing on the specific configuration and daily maintenance of high mast, and many buyers stopped to listen.

1. The lamp pole adopts an octagonal, twelve-sided or eighteen-sided pyramid design

It is made of high-strength high-quality steel plates through shearing, bending and automatic welding. Its height specifications are diverse, including 25 meters, 30 meters, 35 meters and 40 meters, and it has excellent wind resistance, with a maximum wind speed of 60 meters/second. The light pole is usually made of 3 to 4 sections, with a flange steel chassis with a diameter of 1 to 1.2 meters and a thickness of 30 to 40 mm to ensure stability.

2. The functionality of the high mast is based on the frame structure, and it also has decorative properties.

The material is mainly steel pipe, which is hot-dip galvanized to enhance corrosion resistance. The design of the lamp pole and lamp panel has also been specially treated to ensure long-term stability.

3. The electric lifting system is a key component of the high mast.

It includes electric motors, winches, hot-dip galvanized control wire ropes and cables. The lifting speed can reach 3 to 5 meters per minute, which is convenient and quick to lift and lower the lamp.

4. The guide and unloading system is coordinated by the guide wheel and the guide arm to ensure that the lamp panel remains stable during the lifting process and does not move laterally. When the lamp panel rises to the right position, the system can automatically remove the lamp panel and lock it by the hook to ensure safety and reliability.

5. The lighting electrical system is equipped with 6 to 24 floodlights with a power of 400 watts to 1000 watts.

Combined with a computer time controller, it can realize automatic control of the time of switching lights on and off and the switching of partial lighting or full lighting mode.

6. In terms of lightning protection system, a 1.5-meter-long lightning rod is installed on the top of the lamp.

The underground foundation is equipped with a 1-meter-long grounding wire and welded with underground bolts to ensure the safety of the lamp in severe weather conditions.

Daily maintenance of high masts:

1. Check the hot-dip galvanizing anti-corrosion of all ferrous metal components (including the inner wall of the lamp pole) of the high pole lighting facilities and whether the anti-loosening measures of the fasteners meet the requirements.

2. Check the verticality of the high pole lighting facilities (regularly use theodolite for measurement and testing).

3. Check whether the outer surface and weld of the lamp pole are rusted. For those that have been in service for a long time but cannot be replaced, ultrasonic and magnetic particle inspection methods are used to detect and test the welds when necessary.

4. Check the mechanical strength of the lamp panel to ensure the use of the lamp panel. For closed lamp panels, check its heat dissipation.

5. Check the fastening bolts of the lamp bracket and adjust the projection direction of the lamp reasonably.

6. Carefully check the use of the wires (soft cables or soft wires) in the lamp panel to see if the wires are subjected to excessive mechanical stress, aging, cracking, exposed wires, etc. If any abnormal phenomenon occurs, it should be handled immediately.

7. Replace and repair damaged light source electrical appliances and other components.

8. Check the lifting transmission system:

(1) Check the manual and electric functions of the lifting transmission system. The mechanism transmission is required to be flexible, stable and reliable.

(2) The deceleration mechanism should be flexible and light, and the self-locking function should be reliable. The speed ratio is reasonable. The speed of the lamp panel should not exceed 6m/min when it is electrically lifted (a stopwatch can be used for measurement).

(3) Check whether the stainless steel wire rope is broken. If found, replace it resolutely.

(4) Check the brake motor. The speed should meet the relevant design requirements and performance requirements. 9. Check the power distribution and control equipment

9. Check the electrical performance and insulation resistance between the power supply line and the ground.

10. Check the protective grounding and lightning protection device.

11. Use a level to measure the plane of the foundation panel, combine the inspection results of the verticality of the lamp pole, analyze the uneven settlement of the foundation, and make corresponding treatment.

12. Regularly conduct on-site measurements of the lighting effect of the high mast.
